Client entertaining and team days on the water — capacity, the three-hour running order that works, catering, branding and company invoicing.
At a glance: a corporate charter in Dubai takes up to 60 guests and starts at 1,800 AED per hour for the 75ft or 3,000 AED per hour for the 100ft. Three hours is the format that works. Company invoicing with VAT shown separately is standard.
A charter removes the two things that kill a corporate evening: the exit and the seating plan. Nobody leaves after twenty minutes, and there is no table arrangement to trap people next to the wrong colleague. Guests circulate because the deck makes them, and the view changes every fifteen minutes without anyone having to fill a silence.
That is the practical argument. The commercial one is simpler — in a city where every competitor is booking the same hotel function rooms, arriving by water past Burj Al Arab is remembered.
| Yacht | Guests | Hourly | 3-hour event | Suits |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Gulf Diamond 56ft | up to 20 | 900 AED | from 2,700 AED | Team days, small client groups |
| Majesty Prestige 75ft | up to 35 | 1,800 AED | from 5,400 AED | Client entertaining, department events |
| Royal Arabian 100ft | up to 60 | 3,000 AED | from 9,000 AED | Company parties, launches, conference side events |
Captain, crew, fuel, soft drinks, water, ice, towels and the sound system are included. Catering, alcohol, branding and photography are quoted separately — the full breakdown is on the prices page.
Guest capacities are licensed limits, not targets. If your headcount is close to a ceiling, book the size above it: thirty people on the 75ft is a good event, thirty-five is a crowded one.
Two hours sounds efficient and consistently disappoints, because boarding, a welcome drink and the run out to Palm Jumeirah eat most of it. Three hours gives the event a shape:
The charter ending is the event ending. No one has to decide when to leave, which is why these evenings finish on a high rather than trailing off.
Match the catering to whether guests will be sitting or standing. For client entertaining, canapé-style service keeps people circulating and works better on a moving deck. For team days and longer charters, the BBQ setup with crew service is the stronger choice and is priced per head.
On branding, keep it light. Pull-up banners, branded table setups and printed material are straightforward and photograph well. Anything fixed to the vessel needs agreeing in advance, because it must not obstruct crew movement or cover safety equipment. Send artwork a week ahead if you want it in place before boarding.
Two genuinely different events get booked under the same heading, and confusing them is the most common planning error:
Booking a team day into a sunset slot produces an event where half the group wanted to swim and the other half brought heels.
From 1,800 AED per hour on the 75ft for up to 35 guests and 3,000 AED per hour on the 100ft for up to 60. A three-hour client event on the 75ft therefore starts around 5,400 AED before catering. Smaller team events run from 900 AED per hour on the 56ft for up to 20 people.
Up to 60 on the 100ft, 35 on the 75ft and 20 on the 56ft. These are licensed capacities and cannot be exceeded. For a headcount close to a limit, take the next size up — a yacht at 80 per cent capacity works far better for conversation and circulation.
Yes. Charters are invoiced to the company with the trade licence details, and UAE VAT is shown separately where applicable. Send the billing details when you book so the invoice is issued correctly rather than reissued afterwards.
Yes. A BBQ setup with crew service is the usual choice and is priced per head, arranged in advance. Canapé-style catering suits shorter client events better because guests stay standing and circulating.
Light branding works: pull-up banners, table setups and printed material are straightforward. Anything attached to the vessel itself needs to be agreed in advance, since it must not obstruct crew movement or safety equipment.
Three hours. Two feels rushed once you factor in boarding, a welcome drink and the run out to Palm Jumeirah. Three gives a clear arc: departure and drinks, the landmark route, then the return past the lit skyline.
Yes, and they run differently. Team days usually add a swim stop and water sports, and work better in the morning. Client entertaining works best in the sunset slot, where the route and the light do the work.
Three to four weeks for a weekend evening on the larger yachts, and considerably longer around National Day, New Year and major conference weeks such as GITEX, when Dubai charter availability tightens across the board.
Send the headcount, the date and whether it is client entertaining or a team day. You get back the right yacht, a running order and an itemised quote for the company.
